A hero or a villain

we all face the problem of decision making. we need to choose between hot or cold, between black or red and we also need to choose things which may have a lot of consequences. we need to choose between right or wrong. we need to choose between good or evil. we need to choose between life and death.

the responsibility of making the right choice lies upon us. the mighty, the brave, the promising too make choices but how do we know if we have made the right choice? how do we know what we did was good or bad? the fact is that our rights and wrongs differ from culture to culture, from governments to governments, from society to society. there is no sound logic behind right or wrong.

saving a life is a good deed- but if the life saved is of a terrorist?
showing love is right- but if it is through a kiss in public?

there are different instances where righteous people have been condemned because their right was wrong for other people.

john coffey in the green mile was electrocuted because when he was trying to save a life the others thought he was raping a girl. there have been instances when people have gone to jail only come out as heroes.
did they not go against the law? or were they heroes for one group of people and villain for another.

the truth is that a hero is someone who stands for the belief of others who are to scared to stand up for their own and a villain is one who stands up and fights for his own belief when others do not approve of it.

the question still remains- who is the true hero???
